Andy’s House

The construction of Andy’s House is well underway and we are still looking for funds for our capital campaign. Construction to be completed by Spring 2020. Come out and check out the site on West Street in Port Carling overlooking Indian River.

Benefits Andy’s House include:

• A warm, home-like, 24-hour, cost effective setting for those who have no need or desire to be in hospital.

• Highly trained staff and volunteers in hospice palliative care. Which provides the much needed care while filling the void created by limited community care options and too few family physicians. Staff and volunteers will continue to support the family for up to a year as they process their grief and adjust to the loss of their loved one.

• When a cure is no longer achievable, changing the focus to compassionate, holistic care, serving both the physical and spiritual needs of people and their families, ensuring their final stage of life is fulfilling and dignified, with pain and symptom control being a priority.

• Collaboration with other agencies and pooling resources resulting in better care.

  
  

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship is an exciting way to be a part of this project; it allows you to have contributed to an identifiable part of the building. Sponsors are recognized with a plaque in the area they have sponsored as well as permanent recognition on our website.

Sponsorship opportunities start at $10,000 but many areas require a much higher sponsorship amount. In order to involve as many people as possible in sponsorship we have come up with some innovative ideas so that for as little as $5000 you can be a part of a sponsorship.

Sponsorship Partnership

Bronze Level Supporters $25,000 - $99,999 can be part of a Sponsorship Partnership where they join with others to Sponsor one of the larger areas. You don’t have to find the other partners; we will do the work. The name of each partner will be on a plaque in the area.

Let’s Do It Teams

Supporters at the $5000 - $24,999 level can join a Let’s Do It Team working to sponsor an area in our new facility. Their name will be added to the team and once the goal is reached – the sponsorship will be awarded, there will be a plaque with the Team name and the names of the Team Members permanently displayed on the website. 10 - 20 people can be a part of sponsoring a resident room!
